It all begins with an idea.

A few years before starting my corporate career, I'd had some of the best years of my life building and growing a tiny tee shirt line. You know the time when street wear was taking over the fashion scene. But when I closed the brand, the feeling of what “could have been” never left me.

However, after a challenging period in my career, I was feeling stagnant and burnt out and Covid was the tipping point. Despite a “great” job working as a designer for a tech company, I dreaded going back into the office. 

Meanwhile, during the Covid shutdowns, my partner was facing new challenges in her tasting room that came with the Covid mandates that put a stop to the world as we knew it. When doors shut, a window opened and it sparked an idea: cans! Can wine - but not the traditional wine -something fun and approachable… something that I could enjoy on a hot summer day. With that inspiration as the motivation, I got in the lab and started experimenting with bold fruit and wine concoctions.

I can recall the moment I resigned, my manager was discussing the latest project on a zoom team meeting, something hit me and I started typing. That was that. 

New Vintage Beverage has been years in the making. But here we are, and we’re ready to be shared/for the fun/for the adventure.
